ALL Players - BOTH NEW and RETURNING can also use the ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM until September 1, 2010.

Registration Packages were mailed out to all returning players at the end of May.

Former Confed Hockey Player Drafted by Black Hawks! Kent Simpson, a former (and outstanding) Confederation Hockey, SSAC, and WHL goalie, was recently drafted in the second round to the Chicago Blackhawks! Confederation Hockey AGM - Thank-you to all those that attend our AGM!

Federal Children's Fitness Tax Credit -  Tax Receipts for the 2009-10 Hockey Season were emailed to all parents on January 2nd, 2010. Please note that the email receipts are generated by Mel, the Registrar, but will appear in your inbox from HCR Notice. Please check your Junk Mail folder as well. If you need another copy please send an email request, along with the child's name, to the Registrar. 

Coaches Roundtable and Information Session - Club Development hosted their second Coaches Round Table of the season on Tuesday, January 12th, in the Confederation Arena meeting room. For this session, we brought in Bjorn Kinding to be our special guest speaker. Bjorn is considered to be one of the great hockey minds of modern times, and he presented his thoughts on effective lesson and practice planning. The session was very informative and beneficial to everyone who attended. Don Depoe was also at the session, and along with Bjorn, helped answer questions after the presentation.

If you were unable to attend either of the Coaches Round Tables this season, we would encourage you to come to our next session, whether you are an experienced coach or just starting out. The sessions are informative and give coaches a chance to both ask questions and offer advice. Dates of future sessions will be posted when they become available.

2009 Confederation Hockey Christmas Tournament - Our 27th annual Christmas Tournament has now concluded. We would like to thank everyone involved with the tournament, which includes all of the coaches, managers, referees, volunteers, parents, spectators, and most importantly, the players. We had 163 teams registered this year, with approximately 2,500 players, at 8 arena's. For more information about the tournament (including the results and raffle winners) please click HERE.

2009-10 Season Start Dates - Initiation 2A, Novice, Atom and Peewee teams all started their seasons on the 2009 Thanksgiving weekend. Bantam and Initiation IA started October 16th. We hope everyone enjoys the new look Confed jerseys for Novice through Bantam teams.

Concussions in Minor Hockey - An Information session with Confederation Hockey Peewee Parents (education, injury prevention, opportunity to participate in research on clinical diagnosis of head injury) was held in September, 2009. SWZ Power Skating by the Instructors of Quantum Speed™ Program - All sessions for the SWZ Power Skating 2009-10 season with Quantum Speed instructors are now full. Please visit the SWZ website again in Spring 2010 for registration information for the 2010-11.
