Southwest Zone 2009 Summer Hockey Camps - These six-day evening camps are an excellent chance for players to prepare for the upcoming evaluation and tiering sessions in September. The camps are open to players from both SWAT and Confederation Hockey, from Novice to Midget. For more information and to register, click HERE.

2009 - 2010 Player Registration - Player registration for the 2009 - 2010 hockey season commenced on June 1st. All returning players were mailed registration packages following the Confederation Hockey Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 21. 2008-09 Season ends - We hope everyone can reflect back on the hockey season with good memories of hockey and new friends. While you are now planning spring and summer sports, please remember that Confed Hockey continues for board members through to next September and we will be seeking new volunteers as we plan for the upcoming season. Our AGM will occur in late May and we look forward that new people will come forward and help the club.

2009 Skill Development Sessions - Thanks to all those who helped with our skill development sessions. We look forward to seeing you and all the participants again next season.

Helmets Now Mandatory For On-Ice Personal - Hockey Alberta announced on November 6, 2008 that any coach, trainer, assistant coach, guest coach, or volunteer who is on the ice must wear a CSA approved helmet with the chin strap of the helmet securely fastened. This is mandatory and effective immediately.

Federal Children's Fitness Tax Credit - Tax receipts for the 2008-09 season were emailed to all parents on January 5th, 2009. If you need another copy sent to you, please send your request along with the child's name to the Registrar by clicking HERE. Please note that the emails are generated by the Registrar, but come from HCR Notice. Click HERE for more details about the Tax Credit.

 

About Confederation Hockey

Confederation Hockey is one of the largest minor hockey clubs in Edmonton, serving Southwest area communities with over 50 teams in the Initiation 1A, Initiation 2A, Novice, Atom, PeeWee, and Bantam categories.

Our mission is to provide a quality hockey program for youngsters ages 4 to 14, that emphasizes basic hockey skills, and personal development and life skills, including effective work habits, thinking skills, positive self-esteem, teamwork, fair play, discipline, fun and enjoyment of the game. Confederation Hockey club is operated entirely by volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for any position or task please contact any member of the Executive.
